Africa With Us

“Africa is mystic, it is wild, it is a sweltering inferno, it is a photographer’s paradise, an escapist’s Utopia. It is what you will, and it withstands all interpretations. It is the last vestige of a dead world or the cradle of a shiny new one. To a lot of people, as to myself, it is just home.”

― Beryl Markham, West with the Night

Madagascar is home to approximately half of the world’s 150+ chameleon species, spanning both subfamilies: typical chameleons (Chamaeleoninae) and dwarf chameleons (Brookesiinae). These reptiles exhibit an extraordinary range of adaptations, making them some of the most distinctive lizards on the planet. The name “chameleon” is derived from the Greek words chamai (on the ground) and leon (lion), meaning “earth lion.” A well-known Malagasy proverb states: “Like the chameleon, one eye on the future, one eye on the past.” Took the photo of this Leaf Chameleon on Nose Be. #chameleons #madagascar #chameleonsofinstagram #chameleonlove #chameleonclub #africainourblood #cometravelwithustoafrica ...

If Namibia has ever been on your travel wish list, then 2025 is the year to turn that dream into reality as it is shaping up to be one of the best years to visit Namibia.🇳🇦 🐘

After experiencing the driest year in a century last year, Namibia received above average rainfall this season and more rain is still forecasted for the rest of the summer season. As a result, the landscape is currently lush and vibrant green even in the desert areas like Sossusvlei, NamibRand and Damaraland. Over the next few months, you can expect incredibly beautiful scenes of golden grasslands and dark green acacia trees accentuated against burnt-orange sand and the blue of an infinite sky - a photographer’s and nature lover’s paradise.

Namibia offers a well-developed network of parks, reserves, and safari lodges, but it is the landscapes of its coastline and deserts that leaves visitors truly speechless.

If you have ever considered visiting Namibia, we would like to help you experience it in this special year. The ideal duration of a trip to Namibia is +- 14 Nights to fully explore the “must see” parts of Namibia. This will also allow you to travel at a relaxed pace to really appreciate and soak in Namibia’s natural beauty. All trips are customised per your individual budget and starts from 3000 Euro/Person all inclusive. Info@eyeseeafrica.net

The groups are quite vocal, communicating with other groups by singing, roaring and other vocalisations. Besides humans, it is the only mammal found that can use rhythm.
