It was our first trip to Africa. Namibia what a wonderful country. We have taken deep and great emotions back as well as beautiful pictures. A good planification, preparation as well as the selection of the lodges was the key. Eye See Africa helped us tremendous in this projekt and our expectations have been outreached, We estimated the very individual support and the integration of our trip wishes.

Africa – Namibia discovery

Tertius Jordan, head of EyeSeeAfrica, had organized a fantastic trip for us in Namibia. We saw most of the highlights in much of Namibia, adapted to the 11 days we were there. There are some longer driving stages to get around, as the land is large. We had a super driver who was also a guide, he was very nice, knowledgeable and also made the driving trips a great experience. Several of the accommodations had a high “wow” factor. There are a limited number of lodges around the country close to the sights, so they are priced relatively high. On the other hand, there is not much difference between an ordinary accommodation and one with a high “wow” factor. I would therefore recommend going for the slightly better accommodations, but note! they must be booked up to one year in advance.

Fantastic adventure tour in Namibia

I had the privilege of traveling in Namibia and in Victoria Falls with EyeSeeAfrica. Most trips in Namibia are “self-drive” trips but my 3 girl friends and I had the privilege of having the CEO, Tertius Jordaan, with us as our guide and driver for 10 days in Namibia! We were his first Norwegian customers and he wanted to come along and do some recognizance of the places he usually recommends for his clients. Tertius was a wonderful guide and had a unique knowledge of Namibia both the people, their culture and the wild animals since he himself has grown up in this country. Namibia is safe and fairly western with WIFI at most of the lodges that we stayed at.
EyeSeeAfrica is a small company but with a wealth of knowledge about the countries it provides trips to. If you are looking for a trip that is custom-made for your wallet and your interests, this is the company to choose. You will avoid the hotels and lodges that the typical large tour groups stay at but with good quality and unique places none the less. I can highly recommend this tour company for your next trip to Africa.

Unforgettable experience in Namibia

Just back from an incredible holiday in Uganda, organised by EyeSeeAfrica. A quick and easy flight from Cape Town to Entebbe (via Kigali), Uganda offered everything we could have wished for. Murchison Falls National Park is an unspoilt gem – very few tourists and an ABUNDANCE of wildlife in a spectacular setting on the Nile – we even spotted the elusive Shoebill amongst the papyrus! The nearby Murchison Falls (the “food processor” of the Nile) is also a must. Kipedo Valley Nature Park in the North offered the most incredible savannas, with a slightly nerve wrecking drive on a path that went through a herd of probably 600+ buffalo. Sipi Falls at Mount Elgon was a perfect end to the trip. Thanks to the people of Uganda for their friendly reception and for sharing their beautiful country with us and to EyeSeeAfrica for putting together the perfect itinerary and taking care of all the arrangements – we did not have to worry about a thing and could just relax and enjoy! Uganda is not ticked off my list – I am going back! I would definitely recommend Murchison Falls National Park for anyone who has limited time but is looking for an authentic safari experience without the crowds – if you have more time to explore the rest of Uganda, bonus!

Unforgettable Uganda

This was my second time with EyeSeeAfrica in Uganda and it was another incredible trip. We ventured a little bit off the beaten track, exploring the spectacular Murchison Falls as well as Murchison Falls National Park with an abundance of wildlife. My absolute highlight here was seeing a Shoebill!
We ventured on to Kidepo National Park right on the border to South Sudan, Pian Upe Game Reserve and Mt Elgon on the border to Kenia before heading back home to Cape Town.
The trip was brilliantly put together and we had a fabulous driver and car.
Highly recommend Tertius and EyeSeeAfrica – they know what they are doing!
I will be back for more…

Back for more – lovely Uganda

Eyeseeafrica organised a wonderful trip to Namibia for me and my three siblings. It’s the first holiday we have had together in 40 years without any of our spouses or children so we wanted it to be quite special. The Eyeseeafrica outlines of the various options we considered was very informative and helpful in finally deciding where to go and what to do. And the program we finally decided upon, made perfect sense in terms of what four very different people wanted to do.
Highlights for me were the 4X4 ride on the most amazing dunes south of Walvis Bay, the nature trail in the desert where the guides found us the most extraordinary desert creatures to see (they really knew their stuff), and the beautiful lagoon and birdlife south of Walvis Bay. Our final night at the Spitskoppe Lodge was not to be missed either – it’s well worth a visit and it ended off our trip with a luxurious desert experience.
Thanks Eyeseeafrica – you did us proud!

Outstanding Trip to Namibia

A friend put us in touch with Tertius at Eye See Africa when we (active retirees) decided to make our one and only trip to Southern Africa. Originally contemplating a visit of 6 to 8 weeks, it grew over time to a grand odyssey of over 15 weeks! (107 days to be exact…. June to September 2018.) Tertius was in large part responsible for our flourishing interest in the region, as well as the quality of our time there. As with any undertaking of this length, there was a low point or two, but overall the experiences we had were astonishing. The places we stayed were top-notch, but the real value added by Tertius were the singular adventures we had because of his knowledge of the areas and his contacts. His love for this part of the world was evident in every component of the arrangements he made for us or recommended. We could say we saw the best of Namibia, the Okavango Delta, South Africa and Madagascar, along with peeks at Zimbabwe and Mozambique……. but then we would not have a good excuse to return, would we? And return we will. Thank you, Tertius.

Epic Journey to Southern Africa

“My wife and I decided to celebrate our 50th anniversary and my 70th birthday on 24 Aug ’18 at Victoria Falls. Our son put us on to Eye See Africa and I duly got in touch with Tertius Jordaan. Together, over 18 months or so, we planned what turned out to be our best ever holiday. We were both impressed with the careful consideration and care given to our needs and the varied and exciting package that was arranged for us. The itinerary was challenging but made easy due to its hands on management. At every stage of the holiday we always felt that we were being looked after and knew what to expect in terms of accommodation, transfers and activities. I cannot praise Eye See Africa highly enough for the brilliant time we had – it was a fitting way to celebrate our golden time. Well done Tertius!”

Our double celebration in Africa

“My trip with Eye See Africa started in Kigali and ended in Entebbe (Uganda) – 14 days in total. Trip included seeing the golden monkeys, the gorillas (on the Uganda side), Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Falls. Accommodation on the whole was very good (obviously this is driven by a person’s budget) and food through the trip was good. The Irish potatoes served throughout Uganda were excellent! The activities outside of game view were also great fun. Murchison Falls is a MUST if you have the time. Chameleon Lodge in Lake Mutanda is a MUST if your budget allows. Thinking of a trip to East Africa? Eye See Africa is your best option! Nothing was too much trouble and the trip overall was superbly planned. Choose Eye See Africa – you won’t regret it. Thank you Tertius for a wonderful unforgettable trip!”
