Overview

Set on a stunning hillside, the magnificent Virunga Lodge boasts panoramic vistas of the Virunga Volcanoes and the beautiful lakes of Ruhondo and Bulera. Each of the ten luxurious bandas named after the Rwandan lakes, features a large bedroom with either twin or double beds, mosquito nets and a stone bathroom. A private veranda overlooks the volcanoes and lakes. It’s an hour’s drive from Volcanoes National Park headquarters and while there are lodges that are closer than this, the views more than compensate.
