Overview

At the foothills of Mount Sabinyo, neighboring the Volcanoes National Park, lies Mountain Gorilla View Lodge. It is a quaint lodge located only 15 minutes away from the main entrance to the Volcanoes National Park, home to the endangered Mountain Gorillas.
Mountain Gorilla View Lodge is an ecolodge with 30 spacious chalets. To ensure the least disruption of the surrounding environment, the ecolodge was constructed with locally available material. It is a very comfortable lodge with spacious cottages, friendly staff and a great location. Sensitively designed and built using local sustainable resources, the lodge’s 30 cottages are well spaced from each other and come complete with fireplaces and en suite bathrooms. Daily performances of traditional Rwandan song and dance add to the uniquely African atmosphere. Don’t come here expecting luxury, but if you are looking for a relaxed lodge that shouldn’t break the bank, it could be a good choice.
