Overview

Surrounded by the impressive Naukluft Mountains and situated on the banks of the Tsauchab River, Hoodia Desert Lodge offers an ideal base from which to explore the world-famous red sand dunes of Sossusvlei. Just 20 minutes by car and you will arrive at Sesriem Gate where you enter the park. The lodge is family-owned and managed by Thomas & Henreza, both enthusiastic regarding professional hospitality with a personal human approach. Skilled and enthusiastic chefs deliver in co-operation with Henreza delicious creations of international and local cuisine.

The lodge offers comfortable accommodation in 11 thatched bungalows, each equipped with a private open-air bathroom, air-conditioning, minibar and shaded balcony where  guests can enjoy views from their private deck. The very stylish main building hosts a restaurant with fireplace, a bar area and a lounge deck with a swimming pool.
