Overview
Situated 45 kilometers south of Wolwedans and hugged by massive granite rocks, Boulders Safari Camp is the most remote and ‘classic’ camp of the Wolwedans Collection. The five tented chalets at Wolwedans Boulders Camp are built on raised wooden decks with boulders rising up behind them and with endless views across open grassy plains to the Gorassis Mountain in the distance. Constructed of canvas stretched across simple wooden frames, the chalets are simply but beautifully decorated. Each chalet has a large four-poster bed in the centre elegantly draped with white mosquito netting and flanked by a dressing table, smaller coffee table and chairs.
The main area consists of a dining and lounge tent, a breakfast deck, library, pool and an open fireplace. Sundowners can be enjoyed from the top of a mountainous rock plateau close by, delivering epic impressions of the vast beauty of the surroundings. From Boulders Safari Camp you will explore the deep south of NamibRand Nature Reserve. Guided scenic drives, two to three hour walking safaris treading along the ancient hunting grounds of the bushmen and eBiking will happily fill your days.
