21 Nettleton

Overview

21 Nettleton was designed as a private home and still operates as one, with the owner often in residence albeit in his private quarters and seldom seen. There are just six rooms spread over three floors, with plenty of places to hive off. Aside from the L-shaped indoor lounge-dining room there are several outdoor areas. Comfortable sofas on the covered patio, a table under the creeper-clad pergoda and loungers on the lawns. The atmosphere one of a well-staffed private home in which you are a most welcome guest.

Why we like it

Located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac in sought-after Clifton suburb

The pool, wrapped around granite boulders, is rather marvellous

Incredible views of ocean and sky, southwards the imposing Twelve Apostle mountain range and the tip of Table Mountain

A homely stay surrounded by the owners vast collection of artefacts collected over the years
