Overview

Ruzizi tented camp is situated in riverine forest on the banks of Rwanda’s second largest lake, Lake Ihema. The Camp is one of only three lodges located within Akagera National Park. This flourishing wilderness area is a microcosm of Rwanda’s inspiring and rapid growth in conservation.

The tranquil setting attracts a great variety of birds and animals.

With only 7 tents, a maximum of 14 guests, the camp is a quiet an intimate retreat. Entirely solar powered, the lodge blends in seamlessly with its surroundings and offers guests sweeping lake views, delicious meals, and amazing opportunities for bird and wildlife viewing in Akagera.
